Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois feels that Sunday's heavyweight Premier League clash against Arsenal has come at a good time for Antonio Conte's side.

The Blues will benefit from two extra days' rest, with Arsenal facing Cologne in the Europa League on Thursday, 48 hours after Chelsea put Qarabag to the sword at home on Tuesday.

Chelsea will go into the game on the back of four straight wins, with their early season 'crisis' having been put firmly behind them.

Speaking ahead of the game, Courtois said that the fixture has come around at the perfect moment for his side.

'It is good to face Arsenal now,' explained the Belgian.

'Everybody is healthy and things are going well. We won at Leicester, won comfortably (on Tuesday night) and will go into the Arsenal game with a good feeling.

'We are doing well. After the bad first half against Burnley, I think all our performances have been good. We have shown good spirit, good football and good wins most importantly of all.'

Chelsea will be eager for payback after the 'Gunners' prevented them from sealing a League and Cup double last season, with Arsene Wenger's side emerging victorious in the FA Cup final.
