Costa demands reunion with Simeone at Atletico
The SPanish forward wants to return to his former club to work wth the Argentinian coach, but Chelsea aren't keen to let him go
Diego Costa is determined to leave Chelsea and rejoin Atletico Madrid this summer, according to AS.
The 27-year-old striker was one of the most criticised players last season, as Chelsea saw their title defence over before it had even began, spending part of the season near the bottom of the Premier League table.
Although it is believed incoming boss Antonio Conte is keen to keep the Spaniard at the club, Costa himself favours a move to his former club, to work with Diego Simeone again.
El Cholo is keen on a reunion too, and supposedly issued the Champions League finalist with an ultimatum, to sign Costa or he would leave.
Costa has been calling his former team-mates and agent Jorge Mendes to try to push through the deal, but will Chelsea let him go?
