Atletico Madrid dominated the match against Getafe at the Metropolitano stadium. However, they have been struggling to score goals this season

Diego Simeone's men did not give up in their attempt to score and they piled the pressure on David Soria's goal in the second period.

In the 60th minute, Correa opened the scoring. Lemar shot from the edge of the box, but his effort was saved by goalkeeper David Soria. The rebound fell nicely to the Argentine, who volleyed into the net.

However, Mateu Lahoz disallowed the goal for offside. However, the VAR intervened to give the goal. Correa had been substituted by Carrasco before the check was completed and the players ran to the bench to celebrate with him once it was given.

Then, seven minutes from time, Getafe were awarded a penalty for handball and Enes Unal made no mistake from the spot to draw Getafe level in the derby.
