Barcelona beat Real Madrid in the first women's 'Clasico' ever. However, many Real Madrid fans felt Asllani's goal should have stood. That would have made it 1-1. The referee gave a foul on keeper Panos, but replays siuggest there was an offside in the build up.

Real Madrid could have made the match interesting when Asllani drew the hosts leve, but the referee disallowed it because the Swede was deemed to have fouled goalkeeper Sandra Panos when she was trying to score.

The problem is that many Real Madrid fans could not understand the decision. It seemed like the referee had given offside, but it seems like it was actually for a foul on the keeper.

Quite a few Madrid supporters felt the keeper committed a foul which would have been a penalty for blocking off Asllani when she was going to score. In any case, the goal did not count and Barca ended up winning 0-4.

It was the first ever goal disallowed in a women's Real Madrid versus Barcelona. Madrid will try and put up a better show next time so that the women's rivalry becomes as big as the men's one.
