The defensive duo have been disappointing under the new Chelsea manager and the Italian is looking to sign replacements for the pair in January, according to the 'Daily Mail'.
The Blues have failed to win a single game in September and Conte is said to want to replace Cahill and Ivanovic in the January transfer window.
Cahill made a defensive blunder in Chelsea's defeat to Arsenal and does not look the same, solid defender that he was in previous seasons.
Meanwhile, Ivanovic's form has dipped and could leave the team and be replaced with fresh blood at Stamford Bridge.
David Luiz has also been disappointing on his return to the club, and does not bring the defensive security neccessary for a top level player, meaning Conte will look to bring in defensive reinforcements at the first possible opportunity.
In the meantime, Conte will hope that Terry and Zouma recover as soon as possible from their respective injuries to sure up the defence, but it seems that Chelsea need more than this in order to improve.
