The Colombian players for Everton are having a great day at Goodison Park. James Rodríguez and Yerry Mina linked up in the last play of the first half to give Everton a 2-1 lead versus Brighton at half-time.

Yet another Premier League game and James Rodriguez has once again starred for Everton. The Toffees have started the season brilliantly and that is largely down to the former Real Madrid man.

After Calvert-Lewin's sixth goal of the season and Pickford's error which gave Brighton an equaliser, two Colombians combined to put Everton 2-1 up at the break.

James Rodriguez took a free-kick with his left foot and he found Yerry Mina in the box. Mina then headed past Ryan who stayed in his goal to give Everton the advantage at the interval.
