According to 'Daily Mail', there are more and more teams who are pressing for five changes to be introduced after talking to their medical staff. All other top leagues have five subs.

The coronavirus pandemic has also affected the world of football and clubs have to adapt. There is a packed schedule which clubs are struggling to cope with.

The Premier League, however, is the only one of the top five leagues to stick with three changes per game rather than five.

According to 'Daily Mail', clubs have once again shown their discontent. They and their medical staff are calling for an extra two substitutions.

As there are matches every three days, clubs are hoping the smaller Premier League clubs agree to the measure.

England manager Gareth Southgate as well as Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp have been calling for five subs this season.
