Danger for European clubs as the CSL transfer season begins and clubs look to spend big on stars, despite the obstacles set by the Chinese government.

The transfer season in the Chinese Super League will remain open from today until the 14th of July. A period of time in which European top clubs will be on the lookout to try to avoid their summer objectives been seduced by the financial power of Asia.

The latest restrictions have greatly hindered investments on foreign players, but club owners are still determined to spend huge sums to sign the best footballers in the world.

Rooney is one of the names that has been linked with a move to the CSL, along with that of Diego Costa, who already discarded the possibility of that happenning with the 2018 World Cup coming up.

Many are the players tempted by Chinese money, and for the next month we are likely to see much action from a country that already revolutionised the market last year.
