China bids farewell to Mascherano and Lavezzi
Javier Mascherano and Ezequiel Lavezzi played their last home match for Hebei China Fortune on Wednesday and were waved goodbye with an impressive tifo in the style of a video game.
They still have 2 matches left with the Chinese outfit, but this was their last home match. The fans thus decided that this deserved something special.
The stand displayed a tifo as original as it is aesthetic. In it was the traditional screen from the Asian combat videogames, with the Argentines starring in it.
The club also gave them a framed shirt with which they posed with in front of the media, so that they never forget their time in China.
Lavezzi was even able to say goodbye with a goal, but it only helped to make the scoreline look better as they lost 3-1 to Guangzhou Evergrande.
