South American champions Chile will play Mexico in a friendly in San Diego on June 1 as part of preparations for the Copa America Centenario, it was confirmed on Thursday.
Organisers said the match will take place at the Qualcomm Stadium, home of the San Diego Chargers American football team.
The two sides last met in the group stage of last year's Copa America, when eventual tournament winners Chile were held to a 3-3 draw by the Mexicans.
Both teams will play in the June 3-26 Copa America Centenario, a one-off edition of the tournament being held across the United States.
