Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is dreaming of leaving Chelsea for Barcelona this summer. Even if other clubs are interested, no one will be willing to pay the asking price to get the Gabonese man. Chelsea might be able to break his contract though, as they will have to make some cut backs.

It's not a secret at all - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is no longer enjoying himself at Chelsea. After being signed by the Blues last year from Barcelona, the Gabonese man is having one of his worst seasons.

Left out by Graham Potter, he's played very little with Chelsea, even being taken off the list of players eligible for the Champions League.

With this in mind, the ex-Gunner has never really hidden the fact that he wants to leave, but more specifically, returning to Catalonia. He was even pictued in the dressing room with his teammates celebrating the side's win in El Clasico. A potential departure becoming more and more likely, everything is leading to people thinking he'll be leaving London this summer.

However, him leaving appears to be harder than first thought. According to 'The Telegraph', Barcelona, but also Atletico Madrid and AC Milan are interested in the player, but they won't be able to pay a fee for the forward. As for the London side, as they won't be playing Champions League next season, they'll be forced to make some cut backs and let some of their high-earners go. Chelsea would therefore have to release Aubameyang in order for him to go.

His contract ends in June 2024, but it's not a dead set that we'll be seeing him again in a Chelsea shirt.
