Chelsea's future star Estevao Willian has expressed his delight at being called up to the Brazil national team alongside his idol Neymar, viewing the opportunity as a chance to learn from the country's best players.

Estevao Willian, the 17-year-old Brazilian sensation set to join Chelsea this summer, has shared his excitement about his latest call-up to the Brazil national team.

The young forward, who has already made four appearances for the Selecao, emphasised the significance of sharing the squad with his idol Neymar.

"This call up has been even more special because Neymar is an idol, a reference for me since I was young," Estevao stated, highlighting the personal importance of this moment in his burgeoning career.

The Palmeiras starlet, who has been in scintillating form in 2025 with five goals in 11 matches, sees this as an invaluable learning opportunity.

"Being alongside Ney and the other craques is a great joy. I will try to learn as much as I can with them," he added, demonstrating his eagerness to absorb knowledge from Brazil's elite players.

Estevao's inclusion in the national team comes as no surprise, given his record-breaking performances that have seen him equal a milestone previously set by Neymar himself.

As he prepares to make the move to Chelsea for a reported €61.5 million, Estevao's international experience is likely to prove crucial in his development.
