Karim Benzema levelled for Real Madrid when Madrid were struggling most against Chelsea. He made it 1-1 in the 29th minute after Pulisic's goal in the 14th.

In football, if you do not take your chances when you are on top, you are punished. That is what happened to Chelsea at Valdebebas.

Tuchel's men were one goal up thanks to Pulisic's goal inside the first 15 minutes. The goal reflected Chelsea's dominance and they could have easily scored more.

But Madrid struck gold when Benzema volleyed home. The Frenchman got his sixth goal of this season's Champions League and it was not without controversy

Marcelo crossed the ball and Casemiro jumped for it. Azpilicueta, who ended up on the floor, wanted a foul, but play continued. The ball went back into the middle of the box, Militao flicked on with his head and Benzema controlled with his head before volleying him acrobatically past Mendy to make it 1-1.
