Celtic to face Sarajevo in the CL 1st qualifying round

Scottish champions Celtic will face Sarajevo of Bosnia in the first qualifying round of the Champions League after the draw in Nyon on Tuesday. Suduva v Red Star Belgrade is the other stand out tie.

These teams were in the same draw as the champions of the poorest ranked European Federations except Kosovo, Gibraltar, San Marino and Andorra who will get the competition going between 25th and 28th June in a preliminary round in Pristina. 

Celtic, European champions in 1967, are starting yet another campaign with the aim of reaching the group phase; while Red Star, who won it in 1991, will also try and bring back memories of the glory days.
