Celtic thinking about Duffy for defence

Shane Duffy's time at Brighton seems to have reached its end. The Irishman wasn't important in the team last season and has had the odd extra-sporting mess.

Although he is under contract until 2023, the club is willing to let him leave if a convincing offer comes in. According to the 'Daily Mail', Celtic are interested in him.

The Scottish side are looking for a new CB to strengthen the team and be able to fight for a new Premiership against Rangers.

But the Hoops can't relax. The same source affirms that the defender continues to have a good reputation in England and could stay in the country.
