Dani Ceballos doesn't think it's the right time to talk about his possible return to Real Betis next season. It's an option he has been asked about several times and even the Spaniards' sporting director thinks it's what he wants, but, after winning the Champions League with Madrid, he could only think about celebrating. He spoke to 'Movistar' and reviewed his own season as a 'Merengue'.
"Winning a Champions League with Real Madrid is something special. Unforgettable moments to remember. I was calm all day: when you see players who have won four cups before coming to the stadium, it gives you confidence. It was hard for me to even take a nap," the player began.
"There are players who have experienced this game before and it is noticed. My season? When I've been available, Ancelotti has counted on me; now, it's time to enjoy it after a very serious injury. There was a moment when my ankle didn't respond. The most important thing is that there is nothing left of it and I have performed, I am very happy to play again," he added.
Asked about his future, that is, whether he is likely to sign for Manuel Pellegrini's Real Betis, he replied: "The most important thing now is to celebrate with the fans. It's not the right moment to talk about the future". We'll have to wait until a few weeks have passed before resuming this possibility, of which there has been so much talk recently.
