CBF suspends Palmas FR's match and orders minute's silence in all games

Palmas FR recalled, unfortunately, that flight inbvolving Chapacoense which ended in tragedy. Serie D team Palmas FR lost their president and four players.

Palmas FR have suffered a tragedy. The Brazilian Serie D side lost their president and four players after their plane crashed. The pilots also died. 

Therefore, the Brazilian FA president decided to suspend the match against Vila Nova in the Copa Verde.

In addition, in an official statement, the CBF said there will be a minute's silence in all matches which take place in Brazil. 

The federation also wanted to offer their condolences to the families of those who died and showed his support to members of the club as well as Palmas FR fans. A large number of Brazilian clubs have also done the same. 

One of those was Serie C side Vila Nova, who they were due to face in the Copa Verde. "We receive the news of the air crash in Tocantins with great sadness where the president and four Palmas FR players are victims. There is no desire to play the game. It's only a moment to ask for God to console everyone's hearts," Hugo Jorge Bravo, Vila Nova's president said.
