Castillejo and Depay almost came to blows
With Lyon cruising to an aggregate win over Villarreal on Thursday night, things threatened to turn nasty as Memphis Depay and Samu Castillejo almost traded punches following an altercation.
With 88 minutes gone and the French side leading 4-1 on aggregate it is fair to say that the result had already been decided, but there was still time for Depay to show the ugly side of his game.
With the Dutchman battling for the ball down by the corner flag, he left one in on his oppponent, leaving a number of Villarreal players unimpressed.
Among them was Samu Castillejo, who headed straight for Depay and squared up to the former Manchester United man, before the pair were separated by their team-mates.
