Barcelona striker Raphinha spoke to 'ESPN' ahead of the match against Manchester United in the Europa League. The Brazilian player said he would choose Casemiro if he had to sign a United player for his team.
Raphinha has become a key player in Xavi Hernandez's squad. The Brazilian striker has scored two goals and provided one assist in his last few La Liga matches.
The 26-year-old will face his Brazilian national teammate in today's Europa League match against Ten Hag's side. However, Raphinha is full of admiration.
The Barcelona player gave an interview to 'ESPN' and spoke about his compatriot Casemiro as one of the stars of Manchester United: "Man, Casemiro is a player that I always talk about to my friends, my relatives, Casemiro is a player that I’d particularly like to have on my team.
"Because in addition to the experience he has in football, in the things he has achieved in football, he’s a great leader, he’s a great person. With the quality he has, and with the defensive part that for me, he’s one of the best defensive midfielders in the world," he added.
