Cardiff boss Neil Warnock calls the postponement of the match against Derby 'scandalous' and an absolute 'disgrace.'

The fixture was originally supposed to kick-off at midday on Sunday, but the match has been postponed as a result of adverse weather conditions.

Cardiff are currently on a seven-match winning streak and a victory against Derby could've put them to within three points of the leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Warnock spoke to 'Sky Sports News' about the decision: ''It's a disgrace quite frankly. I can't accept that today - it's not safe? We have come out from the middle of the countryside in the coach and the roads have been perfectly all right, so I just don't know where they are coming from with this.''

After Derby manager Gary Rowett admitted that he had several players out with injuries and only ten senior players fit to train on Friday, Warnock said he could've predicted that the game would be called off.

He revealed: ''I am not overly surprised if I am honest. When I heard Gary's remarks earlier in the week if we can get over this weekend's injury crisis with this game we should be all right after the event.''

Warnock then went on to add: ''You look at the game two weeks ago against Fulham here, it was 10 times worse. There were snow ploughs outside. As you see here the car parks are clear, all the shops are open.''

The manager also complained on behalf of the fans: ''We have got some of our fans outside that have travelled some distance. We have got some Derby fans outside that have come from miles away. It leaves a sour taste for the people that have travelled".
