Villarreal pulled a goal back in their semi-final tie against Liverpool after scoring in just the third minute of their second-leg clash. Boulaye Dia took his team a step towards a miraculous turnaround after turning home a Capoue pass in the six yard box.

To overcome Liverpool from 2-0 down really would be a Champions League miracle. Villarreal took one step towards this feat after they scored after just 180 seconds from the start of their second-leg.

The "yes we can" sounded more believable when, in just the third minute, Boulaye Dia made it 1-0 in the match. The forward was started as Danjuma had to be left out, and he took no time at all to prove his worth on the pitch.

A beautiful cross came in from the left and found Capoue at the back post. Alisson scrambled across to cover his post expecting a volleyed shot. However, the centre-midfielder played the ball back across the six yard box to find Dia.

The striker out-smarted his marker and gobbled up the easy chance to side foot the pass into the back of the practically empty net.
