Sergio Busquets will soon be thinking about leaving Barcelona. According to the 'Onze' programme on 'TV3', he plans to go to the MLS for the 2023/24 season. He does not want to go alone either, ideally he wants to play out his career alongside his friends Leo Messi of PSG, and Luis Suarez of Atletico.

Many stars decide that they want to try their luck in the MLS before retiring, and despite the idea that the competition is transitioning to one which wants to attract young talents, many veterans of the game remain interested in playing in the American league.

According to the 'Onze' show on 'TV3', Sergio Busquets sees himself playing in the MLS. The footballer has already considered which team he will play in next.

During the programme Busquets revealed that he has already had discussions with Inter Miami, David Beckham's team. It is a team that he is very much interested in being a part of.

This being said, Busquets is not ready to leave the Camp Nou quite yet. He is wanting to play in the Qatar World Cup, and for this he feels he needs to be playing in a top team like Barcelona to keep his levels high. Therefore, he plans to move to the MLS for the 2023/24 season.

Busquets has already planned his retirement and it seems as though he is not alone in this. His idea is to go to Miami with Luis Suarez and Leo Messi.

The three footballers developed a strong relationship at Barcelona. Their partners and children also get on well with one another and therefore the three players have been considering their futures together.

In knowing that Busquets is nearing the end of his career, Barca are planning a future without him. Gravenbach of Ajax is one of the names on their agenda to take the Catalan's place in the years to come.
