According to Sky Sources, Stoke City have accepted a bit of £3m for striker Jon Walters
The Irland international will undergo medical and has agreed to personal terms. The transfer could be done in the next days.
In 2010, he joined Stoke from Ipswich. Walters played 250 games for Stoke, by scoring 62 goals. He played a significant rule during the World Cup Qualifier against Austria by scoring the late equalizer.
The Irland international kept the hopes for Irland's qualification for the Russian World Cup. The forward also played for clubs such as Bolton and Hull. He is expected to undergo medical on next Monday.
Burnley could not convince George Boyd about a contract extension. Walters seems to be the appropriate candidate to replace him.
