The worst news possible has been confirmed for Chelsea. Armando Broja suffered a torn ligament in the London side's friendly defeat to Aston Villa.

"It's not looking good at the moment, but it is too early to call. We're crossing our fingers, but it looks bad", Chelsea manager Graham Potter confirmed when talking about Broja's injury.

This Tuesday, the worst news was confirmed. The Albanian international tore a ligament in the London side's loss in a friendly match against Aston Villa.

What is more, Fabrizio Romano, who confirmed the injury, claimed that Chelsea are looking to the January transfer window to sign a reliable replacement.

For now, the Albanian man has played 12 times in the Premier League this season, starting two. His injury adds him to a list of inconveniences for the Graham Potter attack before the league gets going again.
