Tony Bloom, the Brighton owner, hopes the Premier League season can be finished on the pitch. And the thing is if the competition cannot resume, Bloom says there should be no relegation.

It is still not known whether the Premier League will return. The plan is for all the competitions to be completed, but it all depends on the coronavirus.

That uncertainty is proving to be a headache for all the clubs. Especially those which are fighting to get promoted or avoid relegation.

Tony Bloom, the Brighton owner, does not think there should be relegation if the Premier League is ended without any more games played. "I think it would be very difficult to relegate somebody, particularly from the Premier League if the season hasn’t played out," he said.

Brighton are currently in 15th place in the Premier League just two points above the drop zone.
