Arsenal have decided to go all out for the signing of Ben White. The young defender has been on Mikel Arteta's agenda for a while, and it looks like the deal is eventually going to go ahead.
In fact, 'The Athletic' assured that the Gunners have already reached an agreement with Brighton to bring him into their side. The transfer will be completed for a figure around the 55-million-euro mark.
At 23-years-old, White already boasts a wealth of experience in English football. An England international for the Three Lions' and a part Southgate's Euro 2020 squad, the centre-back was a stallwart at the Amex Stadium last campaign. He played a total of 39 matches, starting all of them.
This arrival would help to add competition to a position which is currently occupied by the likes of Pablo Mari, Chambers, Holding and Gabriel Magalhaes.
