The match between Brest and Monaco in France was stopped for a few minutes after several flares were thrown onto the pitch by the home supporters. They were closing in on their first win of the seasons and the fans were happy. The game ended 2-0 to Brest.

Brest managed to get their first win of the season and they did so in their own stadium. The French side are now two points away from safety after picking up three vital points.

The fans knew that and they got carried away. Once again we saw another case of flares interrupting a football match. They came on the pitch when the game was close to finishing.

When it was 2-0, several flares were thrown onto the pitch and the match was stopped for some minutes until they were cleared from the field.

In the end, goals by Mounie and Honorat were enough for Brest to win the game 2-0.
