Leicester City have been linked with a move for Liverpool winger Harry Wilson, and Brendan Rodgers has his say on the matter.

Leicester City manager, Brendan Rodgers has spoken out about Harry Wilson and hailed him a "fantastic talent", but did not say whether or not he is planning to move in for the Liverpool winger in this winter market.

Bournemouth currently have the talented youngster on loan and he has managed to score 6 goals in 20 appearances with the Premier League side.

Leicester are currently second place in the league, 13 points behind leaders Liverpool, and are keen to strengthen their squad.

Reports have suggested that Rodgers is considering Harry Wilson as part of his team, however, Rodgers seemed pretty clear in dampening this speculation: "We want to add to squad if we can, it all comes down to availability". "We’ve got a really strong squad and lots of them are young players evolving. We want to but if we can’t we’ll continue with the squad we’ve got and look to reinforce in the summer".

Liverpool cannot recall Wilson from his loan at Bournemouth and even if they did, would have no intention of selling to a title rival half way through the season.

About Harry Wilson, the coach stated: "I know Harry (Wilson) very well. He’s a fantastic talent. I don’t speculate or gossip on other players, especially other players from other teams.” Therefore it looks like Leicester may have to wait until the winter market if they want to sign him.
