Brendan Rodgers has high expectations of Jonny Hayes
The Celtic manager expects big things from Jonny Hayes, who recently signed for the club from Aberdeen.
Hayes netted for his new club during their 9-0 victory over Shamrock Rovers, and Rodgers was very impressed with him.
"He has settled in very well off the field. He is a good guy, a mature guy, and he has mixed in really over the last couple of weeks," Rogers told Celitc TV.
Rogers was very happy to see his team in such outstanding form and said: "It's the identitity of trademark of the team which we have created. They never relaxed and kept working."
Last season, Celtic won the Scottish Championship with ease, going the whole season undefeated. We will see how the Scottish side will return after their pre-season preparation, but the friendly against Shamrock Rovers was definitely a good start.
