The Real Madrid man has extended his contract by one year until June 2023. The German will give a press conference at 1pm local time this Monday.

Toni Kroos has extended his Real Madrid by another year until June 2023, the club has announced.

His contract was originally until 2022, but he has extended his contract this Monday

The brief statement from the club says: "Real Madrid CF and Toni Kroos have agreed to extend the player's contract, which now runs until 30th June 2023.

Today (Monday) at 13:00h, Toni Kroos will appear in front of the media in the press room of the Santiago Bernabeu,

A lot has been said in recent months about the German's future and the possiblity of a departure from Real Madrid, but the confirmation of a new contract puts any kind of rumour to bed

And the thing is you have to remember that Toni Kroos' name has been on the agenda of various big clubs in Europe. 'Le Parisien' assured that only a few days back that PSG were willing to offer a large amount of money for the German international.

But not only the Parisian side weighed up Kroos' signing. Juventus, with Allegri at the helm, thought about the Madrid midfielder to reinforce the midfield ahead of next season.

That said, although rumours of a possible exit from the Bernabeu have been continuous, Kroos himself wanted to deny any information regarding a possible departure.

In addition, the German has always had the support of his coach, Zinedine Zidane, regarding the new project so his renewal has not come as a surprise
