The Brazilian national team has confirmed their squad list for the World Cup in Qatar. Dani Alves, who is preparing at Barcelona's facilities for the big tournament; Casemiro, who left Madrid for Manchester United, Neymar and Vinicius are some of the highlights of the squad. The high number of strikers in the squad stands out.

Brazil called up nine strikers on Monday, including Neymar, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Raphinha and Richarlison, for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they will go this month as one of the favourites and hope to win their sixth title.

The big surprise in the final 26-man squad released by coach Adenor Leonardo Bacchi 'Tite' is midfielder Gabriel Martinelli, as well as the absence of Roberto Firmino or striker Gabigol.


Brazil squad-list for the Qatar World Cup is:

Goakeepers: Alisson (Liverpool), Ederson (Manchester City), Weverton (Palmeiras).

Full-backs: Daniel Alves (Pumas), Danilo (Juventus), Alex Telles (Sevilla) e Alexsandro (Juventus).

Defenders: Bremer (Juventus), Eder Militão (Real Madrid), Marquinhos (PSG) e Thiago Silva (Chelsea).

Midfielders: Casemiro (Manchester United), Everton Ribeiro (Flamengo), Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle), Fabinho (Liverpool), Fred (Manchester United) e Lucas Paqueta (West Ham).

Forwards: Antony (Manchester United), Gabriel Jesus (Arsenal), Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Neymar (PSG). Pedro (Flamengo), Raphinha (Barcelona) Richarlison (Tottenham) Rodrygo (Real Madrid) Vinicius Júnior (Real Madrid).
