Although Sofiane Boufal only scored twice this season, the first of the two of his Southampton goals, which came against West Brom, was an absolute corker, and it has earned him the Premier League Goal of the Season prize.
The goal came earlier on in the term, when Southampton took on West Brom at St. Mary's, long before either of the sides fell into the relegation scrap that they were both involved in at the end of the season.
The game, which was played on October 21, was a closely fought affair, and Boufal's goal was the decider, sealing a Saints win in the final stages of the tie.
The Moroccan winger lit up the clash in the 85th minute, picking the ball up within his own half, after winning it back from the opponents. He drove forward, leaving three West Brom midfielders in his wake as he sped up the pitch.
The nippy winger created a beautiful sight as he darted to the right, causing two 'Baggies' to smash into each other like they were opposing players in a rugby game.
Then, with just three men left to beat, he eased up on the edge of the box, jinking the ball onto his right foot before slotting into the bottom corner past the keeper. The crowd goes wild.
