Botman changes Ajax for Lille
Lille announced a reinforcement for defence ahead of 2020-21. Ajax player, Sven Botman, who was on loan at Heerenveen last season, has signed with the French club until 2025.
The season in France was ended in the offices. Due to the coronavirus, it was considered best to finish the season in accordance with where the teams were on the last matchday before the break.
Thus, Lille are already focussing on leaving the squad outlined for next season. They have already signed a centre-back, Sven Botman.
The defender played on loan at the Dutch side Heerenveen last season. There he played 30 matches, starting all of them. He was a great servant: he scored two goals and got four assists.
Botman was under contract at Ajax until 2023, but Lille have convinced him and he hasn't hesitated in moving to Ligue 1. He has signed a deal until 2025.
