The SD Ponferradina manager, Jon Pérez Bolo, acknowledged at the end of the 2-1 win against Real Oviedo that his team was capable of coming back against Oviedo. This was because his team "knew how to take advantage of their opposition's nerves" at certain times, perhaps because they are bottom of the Spanish second division.

"Perhaps the first goal affected them and made them nervous", Bolo noted in his press conference, and also praised his team "for being calm after the goal and not going crazy, in order to make the most of their chances".

Bolo believes his team had great strengths such as "the bravery and willingness to turn the score around, without being affected by the goal and going for the win after equalising".

Bolo, who has now gone 5 games in a row without defeat, prefers not to regret the early injuries of Luis Valcarce and Nacho Gil, which forced him to make two changes "because excuses aren't worth it, despite the mishaps the team has shown once more that they can overcome these and look ahead".
