Boateng and Alaba tearfully said goodbye
Bayern Munich played their last Bundesliga game of the season against Augsburg. It was a match which saw Jerome Boateng, David Alaba and Javi Martinez. They also paid tribute to the Spaniard before the game.
This Saturday was the final day of the Bundesliga season. Lukasz Piszczek left Dortmund and Javi Martinez, Jerome Boateng and David Alaba were making their farewells for Bayern.
The club paid tribute to the trio before the game, but the most beautiful images were when the players left the pitch. The Spaniard, however, came off the bench.
Boateng was the first to do so: he went saying goodbye to each of his teammates. When he went over to coach Hansi Flick, he started crying. He was unable to control his emotions and he started crying.
