Billing stuns Liverpool as Bournemouth struck first
Liverpool did not get off to the best possible start against Bournemouth. The Cherries took the lead against the Reds thanks to a goal from Billing in the 28th minute after a great team play.
Liverpool, back in Premier League action against Bournemouth after thrashing Manchester United 7-0 at Anfield, did not get off to the best start against the Cherries.
After several dangerous chances for the Reds failed to convert, the home side took the lead in the 30th minute after a great team move. Ouattara charged down the right flank, out-smarting Robertson and Van Dijk, before cutting it back for Billing, who fired home past Alisson.
It is worth noting that Billing already stunned Arsenal last week when he scored the second fastest goal in Premier League history against the Gunners.
Thus, if Liverpool stumble against the Cherries they will lose a great opportunity in their race for the top four.
