According to 'SB Nation', Besiktas will take on Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena with no away fans to cheer them on after the Turkish club reportedly refused to sell tickets to supporters.

Fans from Turkey have a reputation of causing trouble in Europe, so in a forward-thinking move, Besiktas decided not to sell any tickets for Tuesday's away clash with Bayern to avoid any potential trouble.

The Superlig outfit were handed a suspended ban last season following fights between their set of fans and Lyon's during a Europa League fixture and would have to serve a two-year ban from all European competition if they ran into a similar incident, which is why they have chosen to take the aforementioned decision.

As a result, their Bundesliga opposition has opted to sell tickets in the away sections to their own supporters as they still hope for the game to sell out. Although they will keep a close eye on Besiktas fans trying to gain entry into the stadium through resale tickets to keep trouble at a minimum.

It could mean the first leg is an extremely tough fixture for Besiktas as they look set to face a daunting wall of Bayern colours and chants but at least the return leg will be in Turkey at the Vodafone Arena in March.
