Besiktas deny interest in Balotelli
Besiktas president, Ahmet Nur Çebi, has assured that the Turkish club haven't been after Mario Balotelli and that they have thought about Mensah as a possible reinforcement.
Rumour had it that the Besiktas were after Mario Balotelli. In fact, media sources such as 'Fanatik' indicated that the Turkish club had already taken several steps forward for the footballer.
If that wasn't enough, an offer of about a 2 million euro salary per season for Balotteli reportedly arrived to Mino Raiola, but everything has vanished after the latest words from the president.
Ahmet Nur Çebi has assured that Besiktas aren't interested in the Brescia player: "Mensah is one of the options we are considering, but Balotelli is not in the plans".
"We continue to work to meet the wishes of our manager in the market, but we reiterate that we will not compromise our economy", he said.
He agrees, however, with Sergen Yalçin's views, as he does not agree with going after Balotelli because of his various acts of indiscipline and his character.
