Anderson Talisca, who has been on loan at Besiktas this season, is set for a move to the English top flight, according to Besiktas manager Senol Gunes.

Talisca's parent club, Benfica, have taken the Brazilian back after his loan spell at Besiktas. The Turkish club were highly impressed by Talisca, however they could not afford his buy-out clause so were unable to hold onto him.

The 24-year-old scored 20 goals in all competitions this season, and has been linked with a move to both Manchester United and Liverpool, who are both looking for midfield reinforcements. Speaking after it was announced that Talisca had played his last game for Besiktas, the club's manager Senol Gules pointed to the midfielder moving to England.

"I am sorry that Talisca is gone," he said. "He'll be a competitor to Cenk Tosun in the Premier League." Tosun was also a Besiktas player, and has impressed since he moved to Everton in January.

Gules' words could be interpreted as alluding to a move to Liverpool for Talisca, given that they are rivals of Tosun's Everton. That being said, the Brazilian has been havily linked to United, with Jose Mourinho reportedly having tabled a £35million bid for him, according to Portuguese outlet 'O Jogo'.
