Real Madrid's coach is confident Benzema will be fit enough to play some part in the La Liga game against Valencia.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane believes forward Karim Benzema will be fit enough for Valencia this weekend, and get some game time in before the Champions League final so that he is in peak condition.

Benzema was sidelined for Wednesday's 1-0 victory over Manchester City which secured Madrid's place in the Champions League final in Milan against rivals Atletico, however is believed to have recovered.

"Benzema will be with us, he is ready to play, " ZIdane claimed.

"I am not sure how [whether he starts or is on the bench], it depends on how he feels.

"We aren't thinking about the final, we are thinking about our remaining games in the league.

"When we reach May 14 [the day of their final La Liga game] we will have time to prepare for the final."
