Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke could be very close to leaving the English club. Although the player has a contract until 2023, his future could end up in the MLS. Everything seems to indicate that the Belgian has less prominence than desired and has been offered by his agent to several clubs in the American competition.

Christian Benteke's name seems to be more closely linked than ever with football in the United States. The Belgian international has reportedly made contact with several MLS clubs through his agent, with a view to ending his time in the Premier League.

Benteke, who still has a year left on his contract at Crystal Palace, scored four goals last season in the English Premier League. However, his low impact on the pitch would have led him to make this decision, according to 'ESPN'.

Benteke has played for Crystal Palace since 2016, when the club paid 31.2 million euros for him. So far, he has made 177 appearances for the London club, scoring 37 goals.

He made 25 Premier League appearances this season, scoring the four goals mentioned above and providing one assist. However, those numbers are not enough for a 31-year-old striker who could be looking for one last big contract on American soil.
