Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke could leave the club in the January transfer window, but contray to reports in Belgium, he will not be moving to China.

Reports in Belgium suggested that the Crystal Palace striker was attracting interest from China and could make an offer for the Eagles' £32m summer signing.

However, according to 'Sky Sports', these reports are wide of the mark and Benteke will not be swapping south London for the Far East.

Despite this, there is still a possibility that Benteke could leave Selhurst Park should a team make a suitable offer.

It is thought that new Palace manager Sam Allardyce is yet to be convinced by Benteke's abilities despite a return of eight goals in 18 Premier League games, and the former England manager could use the money generated from the sale of Benteke to improve Palace's back line, where most of the problems lie.
