Ronald Araujo spoke to 'Jigantes' and was asked for two signings he would make if he were the Sporting Director. The Uruguayan centre-back opted for "Bentancur and Messi", his compatriot and ex-Barca teammate respectively.
Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo spoke to 'Jigantes' to analyse the current squad they have. Journalist Gerard Romero interviewed him and asked him for two signings he would make for the team.
"If I were Mateu Alemany, I'd sign Bentancur and Messi", the Uruguayan defender said. The first one is his compatriot and he shared what was his last season at the Camp Nou with the second name two seasons ago.
What's more, he added the following about the now-PSG player: "Obivously he's a player that everyone wants in the side, it'd be amazing, something special, I don't know how things will pan out, but of course we'd love it".
It comes after what the footballer's brother, Matias Messi, said about a possible return to the Catalan side: "We're not going to go back to Barcelona and if we do we're going to clear things up. One thing being sacking Joan Laporta".
