Jesse Lingard is on Everton's radar for the 2021-22. According to 'The Sun', Rafa Benitez has asked the board to make an extra effort for the Man Utd player. He thinks that he would be the perfect complement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

We still do not know what Jesse Lingard will do. His contract at Man Utd runs until 2022, but he could leave this very summer.

Lingard had a great performance during his loan spell at West Ham, which has led to him getting on the radar of several teams. The latest to join the fight for the winger are Everton.

'The Sun' says that Rafa Benitez has asked Everton to sign Lingard personally. Not only that, but they have also asked for the signing to be treated as a priority.

The Spain coach reportedly sees Lingard as the perfect complement for Calvert-Lewin. He thinks that, with him, the squad will have everything he needs.

Man Utd are who will have the last word. Man Utd manager Solskjaer recently spoke about the player and he seemed willing to offer him a place in the team. It will all depend on how the market advances and the offers which could arrive at Old Trafford.
