The hosts can secure their place in the next round of Europe's elite competition if they win and CSKA Moscow lose against Benfica.
Basel boss Raphael Wicky will be without Taulant Xhaka (suspended), former Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel (injured) and goalkeeper Germano Vailati (injured) for the visit of Jose Mourinho’s side.
Manchester United:
The Red Devils only need to avoid defeat to ensure they qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League.
Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Michael Carrick (all injured) have not travelled with the United squad to Switzerland.
Mourinho has confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who returned from injury against Newcastle on Saturday, will again on the bench.
