FC Barcelona have their eyes on Fabricio Diaz, the captain of the Uruguay U20 side. The Liverpool Montevideo man is wanted by the 'Cules', who have so far offered €6 million, even though the Uruguyan side are asking for eight for 70% of his services.

Barcelona follow promising young South American players and Fabricio Diaz's name is on the table. The Liverpool Montevideo man is also the captain of the Uruguay U20 national side.

Recently, the youngster's agent Martin Rodriguez Nader was seen at the Barcelona training ground in what was speculated to be the first sign the player may be on the move. Having said that, there are still some points for disagreements between the 'Cules' and the South Americans which they'll need to resolve.

According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the Camp Nou side are set on spending €6 million to get 70% of the player, while the Uruguay side are asking for more, €8 million, to be precise.

That's why the difference between Fabricio Diaz and Barcelona, despite only being €2 million, which seems little, could end up making the difference in the player's future.
