Barcelona are desperate to sign Valencia's Andre Gomes, but are struggling to find the funds to meet his €50 million transfer fee, according to Sport.
The Spanish champions have made it clear to their counterparts that they simply cannot meet the full fee, which could see Valenica demand a player-plus-cash move, which would see Cristian Tello and Alen Halilovic swapping places with the Portugal international.
Another option for the Catalan giants would be to cut their losses and sell Arda Turan, which would give them the necessary money to move for Gomes.
However, Barcelona are under pressure, with Juventus, Chelsea and Real Madrid also keen on the 22-year-old, whilst the players agent Jorge Mendes is trying to push through a move to Manchester United.
