Barcelona and Real Madrid now know who they will face in the last-16 of the Copa del Rey. Xavi's will be against Intercity, of the Primera Federacion (Third tier), and Ancelotti's men will play against CP Cacereno. The games of this round will be played on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of January 2023.
On Friday, it was the last-32 draw for the Copa del Rey in Spain. Barcelona were back in the draw after not being there for the previous two rounds because of the Spanish Super Cup.
The 'Cules' will go up against Intercity, who play in the Spanish third division after they beat Mirandes of the fourth division in the last round. This game will be played at some point between the 3rd, 4th and 5th of January 2023.
Real Madrid have been luckier in the draw, and will be going up against CP Cacereno, who are one tier below Barcelona's opponents, widening the gulf between the two sides.
