One of the areas of the field Barcelona need to reinforce in the next transfer window is the left back position. Jordi Alba needs a back-up so that he can have some rest and Barca want Gaya, but his arrival is difficult. There are three other names; Grimaldo, Angelino and Javi Galan.

Barcelona are looking to continue in the same way as before and with the same plan for signins as they try and gradually improve their finances. They will find it more difficult because of their debt although it will not stop them signing players absolutely.

The full-back is one of the most important questions and there has always been talk of Jose Luis Gaya. However, 'MD' reported that his arrival is difficult because Gaya and Jordi Alba both want to start, so it will be more difficult.

Barca are looking for a player who understands that Jordi Alba will be the number one and that his role will be to allow Alba to get some rest. That does not mean the understudy will hardly play.

The Catalans have three very interesting players to choose from. As the cited media outlet says, one of them is Grimaldo. Benfica need to sell one of their best player as they need to reduce their wage bill.

Angelino is second although the Leipzig man still has a contract at the club and Barcelona will not be willing to spend big money on him.

Finally, Celta Vigo's Javi Galan is really well liked by Xavi Hernande. The player moved to Celta last term and Barca believe they could sign him
