Barcelona midfielder Pedri was interviewed by 'GQ Spain' and asked about his idols in the world of football. The 20-year-old said that he tends to look up to footballers who play in the same position as him.
"My idol has always been Iniesta. I've been able to watch several Champions League games this season and I tend to look at footballers who play in my position," he said.
"Bellingham is a great player. I love to watch his games. I also learn a lot from Gavi because he doesn't lose any ball. I like to see how Gabri Veiga plays for Celta. You learn from everything," Pedri concluded.
Pedri is likely to be able to watch the Englishman's performances from close quarters next season but as a rival. Real Madrid are working on signing the Borussia Dortmund midfielder and he could play in La Liga next campaign.
